The SimHeadset Adapter CVC-2 is a USB headset adapter which allows the use of military Product Improved Combat Vehicle Crewman (PICVC or CVC) helmets, headsets and handsets with any computer via the USB port. It features a mil-spec U-283/U 6-contact receptacle and a toggle switch for selecting either powered electret microphones or un-powered dynamic microphones (Dynamic vs. Electret Microphones). The SimHeadset CVC-2 Adapter requires no external power when used with non- Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headsets and handsets such as the DH-132A/B and H250. A 24VDC power supply is included for use with ANR powered headsets such as the Bose TriPort® Tactical Headset.

The SimHeadset CVC-2 Adapter also comes with a FREE copy of our SimPTT software, which has the ability to map the PTT to any keyboard key and turns on the sidetone while any PTT is pressed. Includes a 6-foot USB cable and 24VDC power supply.
