SimRadio is an IEEE 1278.1A-1998 Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) network radio communications application for Windows operating systems. This application featuring a user friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides radio communications over an IP network and/or the USB network connected to the PC. Up to 255 simulated radios can exist on the network simultaneously. The whole system is easily scalable to your requirements. If you need to add an additional instructor, observer or role player just add a SimHeadset sound adapter to a PC on the network and you’re done in a matter of minutes. This DIS based network radio application can be controlled by the GUI or by a User Datagram Protocol (UDP) network packet. This gives the application the flexibility to be used as a simple instructor operated network radio or as a fully modeled simulated radio controlled by the simulation host computer. Requires at least one of our SimHeadset adapters but is not included.
